Description
Meet Louise Snow Bellamy who was orphaned at 17 years old and has been on her own ever since. She inherited her home, enough insurance money to pay the taxes and go to a vocational school. There is enough money to carry her through unless inflation gets any worse. After three years she is doing her best to finish her courses for a Professional Electrical license. Into her life walks Fillmore, a dashing, smooth talking Adonis that takes her breath away. He is not what he seems but he has convinced her that he is a homebody and is in love with her. Her worst nightmare has just begun. The future United States in which Louise lives is now known as the Socialist United States or S.U.S. It has become more of a prison for the citizens that live there than anyone could ever have dreamed. Free Texas is the only state that has succeeded in seceding from the S.U.S. Louise will have to make a run for Free Texas. Of course there are always complications and she has a huge one.
